 Rating:  - A good basic barcode scannerDoes exactly what it should - can't fault this barcode scanner at all. The only slight thing is that the manual is almost incomprehensible (for me any way). As I am the sort of person who always reads the manual first this worried me. However I threw caution to the wind and just plugged it in anyway - and it worked first time, so who needs a manual! (Well you will need the manual if you want to scan non-standard barcodes but it is already pre-set for normal ones). Rating: - Does what it saysI bought this scanner for use with the Movie Collector software so I could index my 400+ collection of DVD's and video's. It works with my XP and Mac. Don't bother installing any drivers - just plug it in and start using. Works perfectly and does what it says. One of the few pieces of technology that doesn't give you a headache. Rating: - Does what it says on the boxQuite happy with this scanner. Plug and play. I bought it guided by the other reviews so was not surprised by the lack of instructions.
