Electronics : TeckNet M958 TV Mobile PDA phone With TV, 2.6" Touch Screen, FM, MP4, 2.0M Camera and Bluetooth - BlackRating: - Stylish looking phone, Good features, Excellent sound qualityI recently ordered this phone and I really like it so far. The touchscreen makes it very easy to use! The sound quality is excellent, by this I mean loud and very clear. It can store a large number of all your favorite songs. The TV could be quite useful for when in the car or long bus journeys. There are empty spaces for incoming call ring tone to add your own songs or tunes to it. A phone like this one, £100 is definitely a bargain. It is great but one little that needs to be mentioned is there are no empty spaces to add your own song or tune for incoming message ring tone. Rating: - tecknet tv phonegreat value and spec for the money.accepted my orange sim without a problem. instructions a bit vague but ok.tv good mp3 sound excellent.i would recommend it. Rating: - A good-value phone with plenty of featuresI bought this phone about a month ago to replace my broken mobile. So far, I'm quite impressed! The loud speaker is loud enough for most cases where a hifi system is impractical (e.g. playing from my trouser pocket whilst in the shower). There's also the option to play music through a bluetooth device, so you could use a bluetooth earpiece as a personal stereo headphone. The touch screen is great, enhancing WAP access and the built-in games (slide puzzle, mahjong and a Bejeweled-clone involving sushi). I hope spare stylii are available as I'm sure I'll lose that on a drunken night out. The TV and radio works sufficiently enough, with the best reception achieved outdoors, although I guess it depends on where you live. The menus are quite easy to use, with the basic features available by touch-screen along the bottom of the screen. Some other features As a bonus, my 2GB Sandisk memory card from my old phone worked with this phone, playing all the MP3s and MP4s that were on it (about 800MB worth). However, don't take that as verbatim - I'm sure they quote 1GB max. capacity for a reason. The bad points that I've found: as mentioned previously, the manual isn't very good. Took me ages to find out that the aerial pulls out as the stylus, and there's still some functions I'm somewhat curious about but don't know how to work (song lyrics option in MP3 player, what's that about?). I also found the camera is less-than-average, with pictures coming out with a slight red tint. It's possible to change some of the settings to improve the picture slightly, but the results aren't brilliant. I thought I'd have a go at downloading java games (jar) but with no success. To be fair, it doesn't say anything about being java-compatible, which is a shame as it could've possibly doubled up as a (very) poor-man's Nintendo DS or something. I also found predictive text a nuisance to use, with some words missing (especially those ending with "ed") and the last choice words sometimes appearing first. However, I've got used to using standard text again and the on-screen keyboard / stylus is also useful while sitting at a desk. The handwriting recognition is a novelty at first, but not really usable for everyday use (unless you've got poor vision or fat fingers I guess). Finally, you can't set custom mp3 tunes as message tones - I would personally say that was a good thing, but others will disagree. Instead, you have a choice of 10 or so different built-in "jingles". I wouldn't say that they were subtle (they generally last about 5-10 seconds each), but I have the phone stuck on silent most of the time anyway. Overall, if you don't need predictive text or to download games, then this is a very good phone with plenty of features. Most of my friends whom I showed the phone to were impressed. Rating: - Good engine with poor bodyOverall, it is a great phone. Easy to use with touch screen, TV and radio. Sound quality is probably the best in mobile phones. Battery life is good. Only problem I have with it is the cheap plastic feel and very colourful interface. Would I recommend it? Yes!
