Electronics : Logitech Wireless Music System for ipod & MP3 PlayersRating: - cleveri bought this item to connect an mp3 to my hi-fi which it does very well however the transmitter does not work!this is not a problem however as i use a samsung yp-p2 mp3 which has its own inbuilt bluetooth and this combination works perfectly.this is a brilliant mp3 player and coupled with the logitech it really is very successful. Rating: - Wireless WonderI was looking for a way to send music from my pc to my hifi system but I didn't want any of the fancy dan expensive gadgets that are available, just a small box to box type gadget and this is exactly that. I love the Logitech design range and their products are very reliable. Basically the system is in two parts, the first device, the sender is what you plug into where you are sending your music from, anything with a small headphone jack; pc, mp3 player, tv, hifi - you get the idea. This part is a beautiful white device roughly matchbox kinda size. The second device, the receiver is a small, chunky, credit card sized unit that contains phono leads that plug into where you want your music/sound to come out of; hifi, amplifier etc. Both devices have "connect" buttons on them, just press down the connect button on the sender for around 4 seconds and it will locate the receiver, initially lighting red but turning blue upon locating it and hey presto, let there be music wirelessly sent. The quality is top notch and in terms of range a figure of 10 metres is stated and this was about right for me but walls etc may alter this. Whats great is that my bedroom hifi is the only cassette based device in my flat but now I can plug the sender into the hifi and have my old tapes playing through my main hifi system in my living room courtesy of this wireless wonder. You also get a charger with the system to power up the sender, doesn't take long to charge up and I believe lasts for around 8 hours. A great little gadget ! Rating: - Free at last (from cables!)A superb piece of kit. Very simple to set up; just a matter of plugging in. Sound quality is superb and works without interference from quite a distance. The transmitter which you stick into the jack socket of an MP3 player is possibly slightly outsized but that means it holds its charge longer. The receiver is small and easily hidden out of sight. It uses minimal electricity so leaving it on is not a problem. Rating: - Cheapest audio streamingAfter reading other positive reviews here I recently purchased this Logitech System. At around £25 I can't believe how good it is. It's small, neat and effective. "Setting up" is too complex a word - press one button and it just sets itself up! I mainly use it to stream audio from my PC via the headphone output to my hifi, sometimes from my Sansa MP3 player to the hifi. It's amazing value. I do get occasional drop-outs, probably due to interference from whatever is going on in nearby flats, but they're very brief (2 or 3 seconds of distortion) and infrequent, though a bit of a surprise when they happen. There has been no conflict with our wireless network. Rating: - Excellent Wireless SolutionIf you have been looking around for a way to play your music through your stereo wirelessly this is the product you want. Having bought and returned a similar bluetooth product I was amazed at how good this was, it seems to go from one side of the house to the other with no problem. There is no conflict between our wifi and cordless phones. I use this mostly to just play music off my laptop but it works with anything that has an earphone jack which is great if I just want to use my ipod. This is easily worth the price. |
