Electronics : Sony Ericsson HBH-608 Lightweight Akono Bluetooth Headset - Black/SilverRating: - Small ears only!Bought this after reading a review, but It is not very good as it does not fit in the ear properly, although it fits my wife fine,but she has small ears etc, so if your a nomal bloke with normal sized ears then dont bother! Rating:  - Sony Ericsson HBH-608 HeadsetVery impressed with this product. Some reviewers have said around four days standby between charging for use, but this all depends on how much it is being used. I charge mine and leave in the car for a week and then take it back in for another charge, I reckon it could last a little longer like I said its all down to use. Range is good, even works between two rooms, just dont shut the door! The voice activation can be a nuisance if setup, just say the persons name and it starts dialling, pretty cool? Expect when you use the name in a conversation and then have to explain to the person that you never intended to call them, not cool! Can be switched over to use in either ear, relatively comfortable but lets face it sticking anything in your ear is not meant to be comfortable no matter what the manufacturer says, its helping you to be a bit more lazy without wires so put up with it, it really aint that bad actually, its just not as comfortable as ear wax! Overall, no problems so far, everything works as it should. Rating:  - cracked plastic on curved sectionI have had only minor complaints about this headset until now (usually about voice recognition dialling). Both of the 2 I have brought (for me and the missus) have cracked in exactly the same place at the point where curved part swivels to fit over the ear. This is even with careful usage. not impressed at the build quality Rating: - Not WonderfulReception not good when not in direct line of sight with my phone(Samsung U 600) Not a good fit on my ear On/off light not easy to see in daylight. Not one of my better buys!! Rating:  - Value for moneyBought this after reading the reviews on Amazon. It is easy to put on and take off but after prolonged wear does start to hurt over the back of ear as most of them do. The quality of reception is as good as the Logitech one I had before. However, if you switch it on in good light it is almost impossible to know if the light is flashing-why can't it be as easy as slide on and off. The ear phone also sits a bit too high I think. The charge holds for a good few days if you do not use it all the time. Minor gripes aside this is a good headset. Recommended. |
