Electronics : TRUST TB-4200 WIRELESS SCROLL TABLETRating: - Nevertheless a great tablet! It simply does the job and the price is affortable! I really like the A4 size drawing area and be able to put a A4 paper behind and trace your drawing. I bought this a year ago and I found it as an excellent tool to start with. Of course this is not the best graphics tablet you can have, the best one is probably few thousand pounds Wacom :P, therefore it depends what you need and how much you can afford! Rating: - Dont waste your money!I have owned one of these trust tablets in the past. All i can say is that no other tablet can be compared favourably against a WACOM tablet! I found that the pen felt cheap and lacked the kind of sensitivity required to give a smooth line. The driver software is also poor. I wanted to use the tablet with a 2 monitor setup in photoshop with the tablet configured to draw on display 1 and then use my standard mouse to navigate displays 1 & 2. On display 2 i positioned my palettes. This was not possible. However the WACOM tablets will let you create this kind of setup. Most annoying i found that there was a significant lag between a pen stroke being made on the tablet and its display on the screen. I sold this tablet, having been frustrated by it for 2 months. I opted for buying an old second hand WACOM ARTPAD II A3 size. Which i got for about £60 a couple of years ago. The difference in WACOMS superior quality astounded me, this old WACOM tablet is a joy to use! I am about to invest in a WACOM bamboo to go with my laptop as the A3 WACOM isnt exactly portable! Rating: - Its lucky there is a 1 star minimumIt simply doesnt do the job it needs to do. It jumps all over the place and dispite being so much cheaper them a Wacom it still isnt worth its price tag. Mine is on its way back to Amazon as I write this. My advice? Save up for a Wacom or learn to draw with a mouse, both infinitely better options. I never write reviews but felt this has far too many 5 star reviews (maybe they work for Trust) that people like myself might foolishly buy it. Rating: - Not recommendableThe TRUST Wireless tablet is, not surprisingly, just what you pay for. It might do the trick for some people, but if you try and work professionally and/or detailed, this is not the right choice for you. It might be easy to install, but it has many downsides: -The pen is hypersensitive and makes shaky lines -you can't adjust the pen sensitivity or anything pen related properly in the corresponding menu -The pen tip wears off easily and scratches the surface of the tablet. -Despite shipping replacement tips with it, replacing the pen tip is somewhat close to impossible -The Shortcuts on the upper edge of the tablet are too close to the actual work area and its easy to accidentally click on them when you do not want to do that. It's a good choice if you want to fool around with a tablet or if you don't need detailed work, for example if you do rough colouring jobs on images; other than that, I would recommend getting the more expensive but miles better Wacom tablets. Rating: - Don't be fooled!!!I ordered this product and the day after recieved it. I was very unsure on wether or not to purchase his product due to the mixed reviews but am glad that i did. The product is cheap and great for value. The pen and mouse do seem slightly delicate but for the price u pay u cant expect the best quality. The pad was very sensitive but once i played with the settings this problem was overcome. I create images on screen alot being into animation and this product has and will continue to be of use. The product runs off a USB port and 2 batteries one for the pen and one for the mouse. All in all i am very happy with this product and would reccomment this to anyone who is looking for a cheap drawing tablet. Defo thumbs up. |
