Electronics : Bluetooth USB Dongle - Class IIRating: - works wellI have an XP laptop and recently bought a bluetooth product. I realised I needed a "bluetooth dongle". Loads to choose from so just went off number of positive recommendations. It was delivered quickly, is really small, easy to use. Works like a charm. Rating: - linuxworks great with xp but also works with linux mint Daryna KDE out of the box by just pluging in the dongle Rating: - Worth itJust buy this a great product for the money.Working well with xp,don't know about vista. Rating:  - Nice price...This item does what it says on the box. It provides a bluetooth facility for your laptop or desktop computer providing connectivity between your computer and bluetooth devices (mobile phone, keyboard, mouse, printer, camera, etc). It took a few minutes to install from the mini cd provided and immediately was usable from plugging the dongle in. It searched for devices and picked up all the devices in the area, pairing with them without problems. Once paired though I am uncertain as to whether the software/dongle correctly picks up the services associated with your device. My bluetooth headphones pair up but don't do much (ie. can't hear sound through them!). Otherwise the product is good. Rating:  - Vista no, XP yes!!!At first I tried this on my new computer, running on Vista. It didn't work, there was no vista driver supplied or that I could find on the internet. On my other computer, running XP, it was great. No problems intalling, and fast transfer. Highly recommended for XP but I couldn't get it to work on Vista. |
