Currently i have three external harddrives, a wireless TV receiver, my electric piano, my monitor and my printer all plugged in, and it works fine. Two of the sockets are 'swivelable', which is great for those plugs with upwards facing wires. Phone surge connectors: 1xInput 2xOutput. So i guess this works as a splitter too. Brill :D It's solid too, so i think it will last a fair while :) Great buy! Rating: - If you value your computers, then get this!Most people here have said it all. As an IT person, I cannot stress enough the importance of surge suppresors in conjunction with computing equipment. Computer components are very susceptible to electricity fluctuations or surges, and one too many will fry the internal components, rendering your computer a very expensive paperweight! Save yourself the hassle and get this: a simple, straightforward, wallet friendly solution. Ordered this Dec 31, and got it Jan 4th! As always, Amazon delivers! Kudos to Amazon on this. One of the reasons why I keep on coming back and getting stuff, as they are very reliable. Rating:  - Research before buying!What they never tell you with these things is that you can't just buy one and have it work with anything a normal socket will power. Surge Protectors have ratings, and most of the cheap Belkin ones won't cover half of what the average person would want to connect to it. Read up on surge protectors, and your equipment, before buying one! Rating: - Superb value for moneyI ordered one of these to replace a standard 6 plug extension bar. I was a little worried that the rather huge power supply for my cable modem wouldn't fit into it, but it slotted in just fine thanks to the rotating sockets at one end. As mentioned in another review, there is one main on/off switch which doesn't take much pressure to activate, so be careful that you don't accidentally switch everything off. For less than a tenner though, you're getting a quality product with a lifetime warranty and up to £175,000 worth of insurance should it fail to protect your gear. Rating: - A Great Product!!!I ordered the product as the one I had was a cheap and it broke after a few months. I ordered this one and when I received it and unpacked, I just loved it instantly. In the previous one I could only use 6 out of 8 sockets because of the big ones taking space. In this one there is no problem with the big adapters, they fit comfortably. After an hour with it working for my computer, I ordered another one for all my chargers :) I think this is something really indisposable for every computer station. |
