I was more than happy with my old camera, it was tiny and took great photos - it was starting to show signs of age and neglect so I treated myself.......... and what a treat!! The 970is is slightly bigger than some previous ixus models, but the extra size is worth it for the increased optical zoom. Read More Rating: - A superb camera.Apart from its excellent design, solid feel, ease of use and brilliant results where this camera scores over the competition is that it has an optical viewfinder. The LCD screen on most cameras is useless in bright sunshine. The results so far have been most impressive.
