![]() Rating: - A lot to take inPerhaps I was expecting miracles, but I am rather disappointed. All I wanted was a device that I could plug in and use (without hours of learning) to scan in documents and slides, and save them for later use. Two months on, I am still struggling with the bundled software and all the instruction manuals - which inevitably are on disc, not hard copy. I think I've mastered copying and printing a document and this works quite well; however, saving a scanned item as a picture for inclusion in another ... Read More Rating: - DisappointingBear in mind for scanning film that this scanner can only get 1600dpi of detail from the film, scanning at any higher resolution will only add size to your file, no more detail. Read More Rating: - Excellent scanner, additional software less soThis is an excellent scanner, efficient, easy to set up and operate. The software to operate the scanner is also fine, but it comes with numerous ArcSoft programs aimed at photography. These have caused problems - some have not worked properly, and a couple of times have caused the computer (new, Windows 7) to freeze. However, these extra programs do not affect the use of the scanner itself, which is first class and warmly recommended. Browse for similar items by category: Click to Display
