The quality components, such as the three drivers and BasXPort technology, allow these speakers to deliver balanced, surround sound for all your applications, without your needing to use an external subwoofer. The control buttons are located on the front of each speaker and make the GigaWorks T40 a stylish speaker system that you won't want to hide away. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Great sound, lacking a bit on bassHaving read the generally very positive reviews I took the plunge and bought these speakers to replace my cabridge soundworks 5.1 setup. The sound mid and top range is stunning, crystal clear. The speakers do lack on the base side and could do with a subwoofer jack so there is an option to boost the bass levels. Some reviews critisise the sound, bass etc. Put this into context I have a £2000 NAD HiFi that sounds better, but for £65 from amazon these speakers represent massive value for money. Not ... Most Ipod docking systems do not have EQ so no sound adjustment at all possible & the ipod is not blessed with a user controlable eq setting which is bizarre IMHO.. I have looked at the igroove, the bose dock, altec lansing, all ok but lack something to me. The T40's are just superb. Brought my ipod alive so I no longer regret getting ipod to replace my iriver h340. Make sure your mp3's are ... Rating: - Great Sound, great priceI have just got these speakers to use with my laptop when i take it to uni. I decided to go for PC type speakers rather than taking my hifi with me to uni, and it turns out that these speakers are better quality than my hifi. They sound amazing, very clear, no noise or distortion to the sound. It has a good range from the high notes which are clean and crisp to the bass which, although it doesnt have a Sub, still sounds great. I would highly recommned this product for anyone who wants great quality music ... Read More Rating: - Excellent price now...At around 65£ now its really the cost-effective price for it I've been using Harmon Kardon Champagne 2.1 for the last 3 years which was pretty good, but T40 does produce much more powerful, rich sound in terms of Medium-High range. Very good resolution at treble, crystal clear. Thanks to the size of it (4 med units, compared to T20), the sound get pretty rich, also the bodies does match the size and style of most 22' LCDs on your desktop which is quite good. Of course ...
