![]() Rating: - Poetry in motion.I bought mine at the beginning of the year, and I love it. I agree that having to scrape some mix off the sides into the path of the beaters has been a bit irritating (hence only 4 stars), but now I know that it can be adjusted, I'll give it a go. I disagree that stuff is blended, rather than mixed - I find it mixes very thoroughly, and batters etc are as light as air. Rating: - Carry on KenwoodMy mum bought her Kenwood mixer when I was 14. I inherited it when she died and I eventually ditched it last year - it was getting very noisy - but still worked very well. I didn't use it any more than 3 or 4 times a year, often using it for whisking cream, making light sponge cakes, banana bread and one Christmas cake a year. Not a lot of use for such an expensive machine, from a manufacturer that I had always held in high regard! When I was little I always wanted to own one, however, I took it out early December to make pastry, I had just made finished using it at the minimum speed when it started to ...
