Editorial Review: Product Description: The HCB-120 Bluetooth hands free kit by Sony Ericsson lets you control your calls and manage several mobile phones equipped with Bluetooth while keeping your eyes on the road. All you have to do is clip the HCB-120 onto your car's windscreen and adjust its screen to your own comfort. Its incredible battery life means the HCB-120 is alway there when you need it. You can also connect up to six Bluetooth mobile users to this kit. Each user is assigned a different colour - allowing you to distinguish who's at home, at the office, or in the car via the HCB-120's display screen. ![]() Rating: - Hardly hands freeIn theory an ideal solution to hands free, but reality, it's hard to hear if you drive more than 5mph, the other person gets to listen to mumbles from a wind tunnel. I have never gotten the voice control to work, even when recorded with the background noise. All in all it was easier to pull over and take a call or have my partner answer the phone and put it on the phones loud speaker. I think you'll find mine on ebay soon so I can put the cash towards a better solution! Read More Rating: - HELLO! IM ON A HANDS FREE - CAN YOU HEAR ME! HELLO! The device looks good, has a colour screen which you can change to match your socks and is small enough to fit in your glove box. However, the sound on it is terrible - it is so quiet that you really have to push your ear up to it, and for the other person to hear you you have to shout. I drive an audi A3 and is quiet at motorway speed, but still to much noise coming from the road to hear a word the other person is saying. And when i put my front seat forward to access the back it gets knocked ... I have an Apple 1st gen iPhone and it paired to this kit within seconds. Easy to fit and take off on the visor, it can also sit on the dashboard without moving, thanks to the rubber circles at the bottom of the kit. Easy to accept calls, however still didnt manage to master the dialling out/redialling option. The sound is clear on my side as well as the recipient of the call. The sound is on the quiet ... Have since given this to my Mrs who tends to drive on local roads and has no problem hearing the other caller and have purchased the Parrot MiniKit. Both Sony and Parrot are a similar size and carry out the same function etc etc, Parrot does not have LCD screen but can however be heard at Motorway speeds. Parrot has a great ... WRONG!!!!! It turned out to be the total opposite, more hassle than its worth. I used it once, paired it with my Samsung D900 nice and simple, made a call and it rang but when the call connected it disconnected this happened on my next 3 attempts then the call stayed connected. The speaker was so quiet I couldn't hear the person I was calling and they couldn't ... Read More Browse for similar items by category:
