Read More Rating: - Worked better than I could have dreamtBought this to connect an old parallel HP LaserJet 4L printer up to a brand new Windows Vista machine. There are plenty of stories around about Vista not recognising parallel printers plugged and having to play around with drivers and setting ports to USB in printer properties but happily I had none of that. Connected the LaserJet to a USB port using this cable and everything worked straight away from the start, no probs at all. What more could you ask for?! I plugged it in then installed my printer driver. Worked first time and I didn't even need the install CD. I used a Samsung laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium 32BIT ver. and a Samsung Laser Printer. There you go, this product has been proved working with Vista and it already has the drivers!
