 Rating:  - Great Little CameraOk, firstly I have the experiance to review a digital camera to start with. The 5199 is fine for every day pictures as long as you adjust the settings to the maximum output, you then get great colour rendition, the pictures are not exactly pin sharp, but having used many other small digitals, you have to spend £150 upwards to get better pics, the video mode is great, as you get sound as well. Overall this is a real bargain, but add a 1GB card, and 2 high capicity rechargables to the shopping basket. Rating: - Recommend It!its a neat camera takes reasonably good pics. i like the idea of video footage. I would recommend it. It is so good that it'll pic up your flaws! So make sure your beautiful! Rating: - Good value for moneyFor such a cheap Camera, the quality really is quite good. Ideal for snapshots during a day out. And it fits in my normal handbag. However, there is just one problem. There is no viewfinder, and that poses difficulties for me. I have another camera (a more expensive one with which I take art pictures inside, and without flash), and I have found the viewfinder to be more helpful than an LCD screen when taking pictures in either very bright light (like in the sun), or in twilight or dark environments. Read More Rating:  - You get what you pay for!The Vivitar V5199 Digital Camera is a dinky little camera, with a large screen and an easy to use interface (though the menu and mode buttons are switched to how you would think they'd be used). The camera itself though is much better made than I thought considering the price and though it is made of a chunky plastic it doesn't feel cheap, like some cameras.
