![]() Rating: - Style over Content - Disappointing PurchaseLooks great in the box, but its ease of use and lack of intuitive menu's makes this a nightmare to use. It lacks autofill function and even with cropped photo's you end up with distorted and shrunken images in both 4:3 16:9 modes. You can magnifiy, but not in scrolling slide show mode. My suggestion is for the same money go for: Mustek PF-A702B 7" Digital Photo Frame - Black Rating: - vivitar 7" digi photo frameI found this digi frame next to useless. Don't waste your money. Without this editing, the only way to see correcly shaped (but small) photos is to set the frame to 4:3 ratio using the horribly convoluted menu system. Via the menus you can also set the date/time which it will display as an option, and you can set it to scroll photos. HOWEVER, and ... Read More Rating: - How to fix the aspect ratioBought this a while ago and was initially disappointed due to the aspect ratio problems outlined in the other reviews. (ie you either get a stretched out picture in 16:9 or a small picture with black porders in 4:3) However, you can get around these problems with a bit of manipulation of the photos. The trick is to crop them to 16:9 with your favourite photo editor. Then resize the photo back to 4:3 by reducing the size for the width only to 75% (keep height at 100%). This will result ...
