- Does the job....eventually!
Looks great, lovely soft touch casing but the supplied instructions from the manufacturer are hopeless, i was using this case to hold my old ps3 hdd after an upgrade but the enclosure and hdd would not be recognized by my laptop at all. Turns out the drive needed to be initialized via the 'computer management' section in XP but the instructions with the enclosure gave no clue to this. This is a nicely designed product - it looks good and is functional, it only has one LED that is used to show when it's powered on and when data transfer is taking place. Not just uselessly for show as some are.

And you also get a precision screwdriver and double headed USB cable which provides more power for external hardrives as well.

All in all a pretty good purchase

I bought 2 and 1 is now U/S, all in the space of a month. Unlucky, or not as good as lauded; I tend towards the latter.

- Works well for MacBook upgrades
I bought this to house my original Apple MacBook hard drive when I replaced it with a larger model. The enclosure feels solid and there are plenty of fixing screws to hold the drive in place. It can also be entirely powered by 1 USB port (no need for an external power supply) and uses a standard Mini-USB connector. Overall I'm very satisfied with it.
