Editorial Review: Product Description: The safe and friendly way to deal with unwanted house guests. This British-designed and manufactured product has been especially developed to cause the least stress and no harm to mice when they are caught. Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Nothing after three weeksOur rented house is heaving with mice, they're everywhere. I bought these traps because we had something similar many years ago which worked wonders and I hate having to kill the things, but after three weeks of trying to catch anything, all I get is tripped and empty traps. I tried everything to bait them, but the mice just climb over them, evidenced by droppings on top of the trap, with little interest in what's inside. It's tiring being woken at 4am by mice fighting under the bed, or having to ... When we first tried it we caught nothing despite the door closing on it a few times so I thought it was worthless. However, I stuck a heavy metal nut to the door (the side that faces down when the trap is primed) to give it a bit more weight so it would close quicker and since then we've caught about 20 mice ranging from small to large and only once seen the bait gone without a mouse inside. ... Read More Rating: - Mouse trappedIt took two weeks but I found a mouse in the trap yesterday and have now released him a good mile away. I used raisins and ice cream cone wafer as bate and placed along the wall by a bookcase. Good product. Rating: - Door shut but no mice!!!I bought two of these traps and set them over two consecutivce nights. Three times the bait has gone and the doors have been shut but however the mice seem to be able to escape. Rating: - uselessI fell for the positive reviews for this product and regret it. I'm not sure what goes wrong, but the mice aren't being caught by these. Used raisins/chocolate/peanut butter and the mice are still running around the place, leaving signs and eating other food but not being caught by these traps. Twice the trap has been shut, with no mouse inside. I'm guessing since its not a spring mechanism, and the door just falls while the mouse is only halfway it can back out. Waste of time and money.
