Being in HM Forces I have made use of this USB PCTV in England, Germany, Cyprus and Afghanistan and it has never let me down. It works perfectly in hot, cold and dusty conditions. You can use it through Windows Media Player on Vista (which I recommend) or use the software that comes stored on the stick itself which is good and user friendly. The mini remote control is good but I would have preferred it to be credit card size ... Read More Rating: - BuggyThe software is very buggy, and gets worse if you do not properly eject the stick. It is also very slow at times - a relatively powerful PC is needed too for watching and recording. The supplied aerial is only good for places with very good reception; those that don't will have to get a separate one or a metal coat hanger. When it works, it's fine - quality is good and the EPG is bearable. The extra '1Gb' (really about 700MB) is pretty worthless considering the fuss that's needed every time ... Read More Rating: - Does what it says - but sluggish when reception is weakI held off buying one of these because I had read that software on similar items had slowed down people's systems. But with this one, the software lives on the Flash stick, which makes for a more flexible arrangement. I bought this primarily so that we could have our own TV when on holiday with my in-laws in Italy, but I've used it here in the UK too.
