 Rating:  - Good in principle, but in practice....Replacing an old Dell flatscreen, I read up on a lot of monitors. The 226BW got good reviews in a number of places, including here. I was very disappointed with the image when I first set it up, but assumed I could adjust it extensively. The built-in controls are somewhat limited if you're using a digital connection, but again, I assumed once I had the main OSD suite - MagicTune - installed it'd be hunky dory. But oh no. Excellent delivery service!(express delivery).I read various reviews and i was a little wary about the whole monitor grade fiasco! But i went for it anyway! Matches the looks of much more expensive HD TV's. Incredibly sharp and excellent image quality in windows over a DVI cable. Games look stunning and vivid. Movies looked generally good. Out of the box, the screen was bright, clear, with nice vivid colours. I had read about the varying panels that can potentially be fitted to this screen, but I haven't even bothered to check, as the picture more than satifies my expectations.
