![]() Rating: - Easy to install, great connectivity, great product.I have sky broadband and wanted to connect my desktop PC upstairs to the wireless network. I saw the 5 star reviews for this product and the cheap price and went ahead and bought one. It took me 10 minutes to install the card in the machine and install the software on XP. Wireless signal reception is 100% for my sky broadband connection and it also picked up 3 signals from surrounding houses...! Superb product at a very reasonable price. Rating: - Simple, easy, and it worksI have just moved over to Virgin Cable broadband from Orange. As such, my 5 1/2 Dell Inspirion 2350 desktop has to be moved over to wireless or else I will have to run a wire half way around the house. I bought this wireless card on the 5 star recommendation here and elsewhere. It took 4 days to arrive, and I fitted it today. It was for this reason I was looking for a budget priced PCI WiFi card which supported the newer security levels (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK) and would also provide a strong and reliable signal strength. After reading the unanimous 5 star reviews for this product I considered the Edimax EW-7128g WiFi Card a safe bet! Read More Rating: - All round excellence Worked first time no hassle. My router is downstairs but i still get 100% signal. The picture is misleading as it comes with a wire so you can move the receiver if you want. The hardest part was opening up my computer and clipping it in place! Great product, great price. Rating: - Works perfectly, good rangeI bought this card to replace my usb adpater which wasn't very well recognised with Linux. Well for £10, I have something that works out of the box in linux (I haven't tried WPA though). The installation is also very simple with Windows XP. My router is 3 thick walls away from my computer and I now have a signal strengh of 80% (6-10% with my previous adapter). Browse for similar items by category:
