![]() Rating: - Expensive to run, poor quality printWe have been long term Canon users having owned a variety of bubble jets. We bought the MP460 because we needed a new scanner. Our old Canon scanner was OK but Canon do not provide any VISTA drivers to make it work with our new PCs. The MP460 is difficult to use and the cartridges are extremely expensive and don't last very long. Yes, we are using the high capacity carts, the low capacity carts are a joke. The MP460 carts are a bit like HP carts in that they are both printhead and reservoir. ... Read More Rating: - V expensive cartridgesI have no issue with this printer itself. However I object to having to pay premium prices for replacement cartridges. It is not possible to get compatible cartridges or to refill successfully. Result? Its cheaper to buy a new printer and throw away a functioning machine. Canon and other companies should be made to pay landfill charges!
