I can import video from my digital camera, Sky television, Freeview, analogue television, from my VCR, old DVDs (the latest are too well protected) and commercial VHS tapes. Simple to use. Excellent quality for analogue to digital conversion - much cheaper than buying a DVD combi device. It comes with Power Director 5, but you need to spend £40 to upgrade it to version 7. There are no instructions whatsoever, and I mean none. The two pieces of software that come with the product seem ok and I was able to capture video but no sound from a camcorder, but had no luck at all trying to capture from a PAL VHS player despite repeated efforts and going through all the settings.
