First impressions was of a metallic taste to the water - especially if you reboil. Hoped this taste problem would lessen with time - unfortunately not. Looks good - but bad water taste - make your own mind up what you want from a kettle! I haven't had any issue about the taste of water like some reviewers have reported and it does boil pretty quickly. However there are a number of issues that mean it is not a very good kettle - the lid is metal and therefore gets very hot, it is also not very easy to get in and out with just a little loop handle to grip.
