Rating: - A MUST for every household.....well your never guess what happened..... our house got struck by lightning, the whole house shook and it wasn't good. its lucky that i kitted my whole house out with these surge protectors no more than two months before this happened , they have more than likely saved me thousands of pounds. so , like many others have said its one of those products that holds a question mark but i would seriously recommend that you invest in some of these, before its too late. Brief power cuts can happen at any time, along with spikes in the voltage. Even turning the mains on and off at the wall can cause a power surge. All this can damage your equipment. My satellite receiver had all the audio circuits blown by a power surge and it cost £120 to repair. (Satellite receivers can be particularly sensitive to voltage changes.) So a multi ...
