"Dean Marshall Consultancy were a tower of strength when I set up Media Helping Media, a site that aims to help independent media in transition and post-conflict areas and offer free, training resources designed to build capacity locally. Although busy and working on his commercial deals, Dean was quick to see the importance of sharing knowledge with those unable to afford to pay the price of expensive Western consultants.

Media Helping Media is non-profit and has no sponsors, and Dean responded to the challenge to work with me on perfecting my site so that it was fully optimised. Not only am I grateful for that input, but thousands of journalists around the world, from Guatemala to Nepal, are grateful, and have benefited from that generosity of spirit, too. Dean showed that it is not all about profit, it is also about social responsibility."
