In this section of the site we offer documentation on the modification files that Dean has released to the community. Some of these are free, some we feel warrant a modest fee.

Please note: Unlike the free mods that we also distribute, our paid mods are NOT released under the GPL. You are NOT free to pass them on to others (whether free or for a fee), or sell derived works from them. You may modify your copy for your own personal use only. They are, and will remain, the copyright of  Dean Marshall, unless you are notified otherwise.

Why charge a fee for some mods?
There are two reasons we feel that a fee is necessary:

• 1. It takes quite an investment in terms of time and learning to create anything but the simplest of modifications. If you don't believe us you are free to go and write your own modifications - we'll even point you in the direction of the documentation, which Dean a hand in writing.

• 2. We will be passing on 10% of the revenues received for Dean's modifications to MrRat. He offers his script for FREE, asking only for voluntary donations from those who feel able to pay. We feel that his contribution is under-valued by many, perhaps people don't realise what is involved in programming. By charging for his work, we make a point - and by passing on some of the revenue we hope to help MrRat to continue his good work. If you make money from your script you should perhaps consider passing on a percentage of your good fortune?
