APF Bridge Demo And Development Site

Superb bridge. Everything works perfectlty except for one minor thing. When I click the 'Buy From Amzon' button on shopping cart', the Amazon Shopping cart opens in the same window as my joomla window. I want the Amazon page to open in a new window (like your demo site) so the visitor does not lose my site. Where can I chnage the target window to _new page.

Sounds like you are using the APF Script's internal shopping cart. You want to switch to use the 'Buy from amazon' buttons.

In the apf folder (varies depending on where you installed the perl script) find the /templates/default/ folder. In the item.template (and perhaps also products.template if you wish) you can change the %%shopping_cart%% to %%buy_button%%.

Actually I'm typing this from memory - so you will want to check the documentation distributed with mrRat's script - it is in a /docs/ folder in the zip - and maybe on your server if you uploaded it.

The documentation details which templates do what - how they work and the template variables available to you.

If you are still struggling give me a shout - I intend to provide more documentation on configuring the APF Script itself including templating issues.
