Editorial Review:
Product Description:
A Sip Through Time, A Collection of Old Brewing Recipes contains, in a single illustrated volume, over 400 documented historic recipes for ale, beer, mead, metheglin, cider, perry, hypocras, wines, etc., dating from 1800 B.C. to modern times.

Rating:
- A "must have" for period potable makersCindy Renfrow has compiled a thorough presentation of period and somewhat out of period recipies for brewers of medieval beverages. She does a great job referencing each recipe and includes a helpful glossary of terms, as well as a lengthy list of herbs and fruits found in those recipes. If you are a mead maker, this is a great reference book to have in your library. I highly recommend this for brewers in the SCA or other reenactors of this time period.

- A Sip Through TimeA useful book for period brewers. Contains many receipes from the "Closet of Sir Kenholm Digby".
Rating:
- one of the best brewing books for serious reenactorsSCA people shoudl Definatly have this book on your shelf. especially if your a brewer.
