Rating: - Good Reference
This is a good book to have on hand and to read before you really dive into Window's Vista. No reference book is ever an interesting read but this one is to the point.

Rating: - Book does not make your life easier
VISTA should not have been developed, in my opinion. This book is PLAIN, AND it does not make the ill-fated operating system EASY to use. Years ago the US automobile manufacturers told drivers what's good for them'. Look what happened!

Rating: - Easy to understand
I purchased Step by Step. This had a disc at the back of the book which was to be used for practice lessons. This does not work. I downloaded the system many times, without success. I found an item on the net which explained that there was a problem with the system and it gave instructions to cure this - but this does not work either. I wrote to Windows and they did not reply.

I purchased Plain and Simple - and that is what it is, easy to understand and use. I recommend it.
