Order Form (Joomla Component)

The Order Form component is currently at an early stage of development. It is a lightweight e-commerce component for online retailers with under 50 items for sale.

1. The retailer's website markets the products persuading the shopper to buy.
2. The shopper is then passed on to an online order form that lists all products - which are divided into user defined categories.
3. The customer enters their order quantities and clicks through to enter their name and address.
4. Three choices are provided for payment:
   • The order is printed for mailing
   • Payment by Credit Card (handled via Paypal)
   • Payment by Paypal

Following successful payment the component can be set to be notified via Paypal's Instant Payment Notification of payment, the component will verify this payment and confirm that all items have been paid for at the correct rate.

The shopper is then passed back by paypal to a thank you page, again generated by the component. This page can optionally confirm details of the order to the shopper.
