Log store page views and products viewed

Summary - The logging mod file carries out a number of tasks:

• Logging of ALL store pages viewed
• Log All products viewed by date and by locale.
• Display today's most recently viewed products in current locale - removes duplicates
• Display yesterday's most frequently viewed products in current locale
• Show this week's (last seven day's) most frequently viewed products
• Built in protection against from embarrassment for low traffic sites
• All features are optional - only show what you want to show.

This mod logs ALL pages generated by the script, then uses that information to create and display a list of today's most recently viewed products,  the previous days most viewed products and the products viewed most over the last 7 days.  The mod file also optionally produces a link to pages displaying ALL products viewed in those periods (can be very very long).  It is intended that this mod is compatible with my own Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URLs mod as well as other available mod_rewrite mod files although it hasn't undergone thorough testing with such combinations.

variables:

The mod creates new variables that you include in your page.template file these are %%recently_viewed%%, %%yesterdays_most_viewed%% and %%l7_most_viewed%%

Dependencies:

This mod now depends upon custom_operation.mod for a few operations: such as creating the required folder structure and showing 'extended' lists within apf templates.

folders:

The mod also requires a new folder that also contains one subfolder per locale and sub-subfolders. By default these are <your apf folder>/logs/ and one folder for each locale <your apf folder>/logs/uk/ and sub folders for each type of logged content /raw/ /l7_m_v/ and /y_m_v/

If permissions are suitable, these Folders can be created 'automagically' by calling your script with the following query string:
