One of the best comedies of the 1970s, Blake Edwards' ode to midlife crisis and the hazards of infidelity now plays like a valentine to that self-indulgent decade, and it's still as funny as it ever was. In the signature role of his career (along with Arthur), Dudley Moore plays a songwriter with a severe case of marital restlessness, and all it takes is a chance encounter with Bo Derek (in her screen debut) to jump-start his libido. Julie Andrews plays Moore's wife, who will only tolerate so much of her husband's desperate need to reaffirm his sexual vitality, while Moore pursues Derek to a tropical rendezvous. Rating: - Rauncy sex comedy with uneven and ridiculous plot
Blake Edwards' 10, proved to be a surprise at the box office, at a time when he lost his main star the gifted comic Peter Sellars who had dominated his entire set of Pink Panther movies and two others including The Crazy World of Henry Orient and The Party.

Rating: - A classic sex comedy
Dudley moore is his usual funny self in this comedy about a songwriter / musician who is facing a mid life crisis.
Memorable moments include the telescope on his patio when it hits him and he falls down the bank. Seeing him try to get up again is a real belly laugh. Also Bo Derek in her classic scene running along the beach in slo mo. Dudley burning his feet on the sand is brilliant.

Rating: - Classic 70s kitsch and a beautiful performance
It's all too easy to look at the bottom line when thinking about Blake Edwards' '10' and to over-simplify it. Yes it is a film about mid-life crisis. Yes it does feature Dudley Moore and yes it did catapault Bo Derek to international stardom. However, what this over-simplification misses is the sheer delight this film gives if you give in to the 70s kitsch which oozes out of every frame.

From 8-track tapes to 70s swingers music, this film has a rich flavour.

Rating: - Hilarious Yet Ridiculous
Even the title for this film does not fit into anything. Dudley Moore's character once mentions that Bo Derek's character is an '11' on a scale from 1 to 10... so why is the film called '10'!?!

Anyway, as usual, Dudley Moore provides a lot of good laughs, not only in the slapstick genre and his classic drunk scenes. And these moments are the only highlights of an otherwise outdated and therefore nowadays ridiculous film.

Rating: - Middle-aged crisis for Dudley Moore
Bo Derek became famous, and sales of Ravel's Bolero hit the roof when Blake Edwards' semi-biographical comedy of life made it to the screen. This video captures the often embarassing mid-life moments of George Webber (Dudley Moore)and the implications on those around him, especially his long suffering girlfriend Sam (Julie Andrews). Fans of Blake will know what they're in for, and both Moore & Andrews turn in excellent performances, to make this adult comedy a deserved winner at the box office.
