I love reading this cookbook. I love how the book has different ideas for different feasts. I made the jewelled cupcakes for christmas. They were really marvellous and looked just like the picture. Everyone who came home during Christmas loved them... they looked fantastic and tasted even better..

This book is amazing!! Not only are the recipes extremely easy and straightforward (you would expect nothing less from Nigella), but the background to each 'Feast' is interesting and well written.

In agreement with another reviewer, the chocolate cake section is fantastic!!

Rating: - Astoundingly tantalising and scrumptious!!
As a cookery book sceptic this book has transformed by attitude towards celebrity chefs. This book has a personal and `down to earth' nature which is really quite endearing. Engaging snapshots and quirky notes make this not only a collection of recipes but an equally enjoyable read. It has never stayed on the shelf long; I constantly find myself delving into its stunning pages which burst with inspiration and wisdom.
